I’m DJ JPAZ, a South Florida based DJ born and raised in Miami, with a sound shaped by culture, movement, and years behind the decks.

I started DJing at 12 years old, completely self-taught, playing everything from all-ages events and house parties to Sweet 16s and Quinceañeras. Growing up in Miami and later moving around the country allowed me to experience different sounds and scenes firsthand, from LA culture to Texas, Colorado, Wisconsin, New York, North Carolina, and New Mexico. I’ve also traveled internationally, including Nicaragua, where my parents are from. Those experiences play a big role in how I approach music today.

My style is open format at its core, built around one goal: keep people dancing. I blend Hip-Hop, R&B, House, and Groovy and Tech House, while also playing a wide range of Latin music including Guaracha, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Dembow, Bachata, Salsa, and Merengue. Every set is shaped around the crowd, the room, and the moment. Some nights call for open-format versatility, while others, especially in club settings, lean deeper into house or Latin-driven energy.

What matters most to me is energy, flow, and clean transitions. I focus on reading the crowd and adapting in real time to keep the vibe consistent and the dance floor moving. I take pride in being adaptable, professional, and easy to work with.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to play at venues and events throughout South Florida, including Crusoe in Wynwood, Hubble Bubble Lounge in North Miami Beach, events with the City of Miami Beach, and the Toy Drive for the Kamaru Usman Foundation, founded by UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman. I’ve also DJ’d private holiday parties for major companies and special events with organizations like Ocean Reef Association.

At 27 years old, I consider myself an up-and-coming DJ in South Florida, experienced, culturally versatile, and constantly evolving. I’m focused on booking more club and corporate events while continuing to bring the same level of energy and attention to detail to every event.
